Four terms best describe Chuck Miller…Entrepreneur, Salesman, Manager and Team Player. For my entire business career, I have been involved in the sale of products and the management of people. I am known for my enthusiasm and high energy level, and for my entrepreneurial and team approach to business.
From an early beginning managing A & W Drive-In restaurants, to the present as owner of Miller Enterprises, my interests have been in developing sales and successful sales teams. My work history is lengthy and strong. My work ethic, reliability and credibility, are outstanding.
My early years in business included fifteen years of opening, directing and managing fast food restaurants and in-plant feeding operations. When I moved to the sales side of the food industry from the operational side, I became a highly successful salesman at both the distributor and broker level.
In 1980 I helped found Northern California Food Sales, a food service brokerage company. During the 12 years I was a partner in the business, Northern California Food Sales became the largest and leading food service broker in Northern California.
As one of three founding partners, I assisted in the development of the company, its direction and employees. I was active in every aspect of sales and sales management. By 1992, when I sold my interests and semi-retired, the company had grown from less than one million dollars in annual sales to a company with twenty-nine employees with sales exceeding 60 million dollars annually.
Since 1992 I have devoted my time and energy to my company, Miller Enterprises. I assist companies with domestic and international sales, write golf and travel articles for newspapers, magazines and the Internet, and challenge students and businessmen to achieve success with my motivational presentation.
My sales activities with Miller Enterprises have included sourcing food products for a national chain of cash and carry stores; sourcing food products for distributors in Europe and the Far East, and the appointment and management of golf club distributors worldwide for two US golf companies, Alien Golf and Adams Golf.
